Brian Selzer

President, Co-Founder

Brian co-founded Ogmento in 2009 with industry veterans to bring games to life in the real world. As a creative executive and digital media pioneer, he has over 14 years experience developing content for online, mobile and emerging platforms.

Brian built his career in the comic book industry, revitalizing classic brands such as Richie Rich and Casper the Friendly Ghost. As Vice President of Interactive for Top Cow Productions, he established online marketing and distribution models to sell a record number of comic books, featuring titles that went on to become film, television and video game projects.

As co-founder of Eruptor Entertainment, a venture-backed digital entertainment and gaming company, Brian created and produced over twenty-five online shows and fifteen wireless applications including PortaPets which was featured in the Wall Street Journal and Wired Magazine.

As Chief Content Officer for SuperNation, LLC, Brian spearheaded content development for the Superdudes.net and Grab.com websites, which were both acquired by Fox Interactive in 2005. Press, such as CNN, Yahoo, USA Today, and others have recognized both gaming sites for their achievments in social media content and technology. Each site had over 1 million active members within their first year.

As mobile device capabilities advanced, becoming a natural extension of digital content distribution, Brian went on to spearhead Marvel Mobile at Hands-On Mobile where he supervised the worldwide strategic launch and ongoing development / management of Marvel Entertainments mobile business; expanding brands such as X-Men, Spider-Man and Fantastic Four into the mobile media landscape for the first time with numerous games and personalization products.

In 2006, Brian had the opportunity to work with the legendary Nolan Bushnell, founder of Atari and the creator of the first video game, Pong. In 2007 helped establish Blockade Entertainment, the first animation studio of its kind to create and distribute 3D animated content through the utilization of video game engines and assets. The studio went on to produce content for EA, Hasbro, DC, Warner Brothers, Lego, Sony and others.

At Blockade, Brad served as Founder and CEO, spearheading the company’s growth by creating a system that uses pre-existing game assets to produce cost effective CG animation in various formats. In just two years Blockade created various projects for EA, Sony, Warner Brothers, Lego, Hasbro, and Codemasters. The company also has a DVD film slated for release based on the Sony game franchise, Heavenly Sword.

Prior to Blockade, Brad partnered with legendary film maker John Woo to form Tiger Hill Entertainment, a game developer and production company. While at Tiger Hill, Brad expanded the scope of the company to include game projects with other Hollywood talent including Ridley Scott, Michael Mann, Guillermo Del Toro, John Carpenter, and Clive Barker.

Beginning his career in the comic book industry, Brad helped transform Top Cow Productions, a small independent comic book publisher at the time, into a successful entertainment company and the third largest publisher in the US. During his tenure as President, he expanded Top Cow’s operations into all aspects of entertainment including film, TV, games, trading cards, toys, and merchandise. He also played a key role in an equity investment from Eidos Interactive, a leading video game publisher known for its popular title, “Tomb Raider”.

Most notably, Mr. Foxhoven was instrumental in establishing several of Top Cow’s comic book franchises into film and television projects, particularly the live action television series, “Witchblade”, which aired on TNT for two seasons of which Mr. Foxhoven served as a Producer.

Looking to expand the boundaries of content creation and production, Mr. Foxhoven broadened his creative scope to the Internet in the early part of 1999, co-founding Eruptor Entertainment and serving as its Chairman & Chief Executive Officer. Eruptor would go on to become a leading wireless and online entertainment and gaming company, creating over twenty-five online shows and fifteen wireless applications.

Since 2005, Brad has also served as a strategic consultant for various companies looking to bridge the video game world and traditional media. These have included Pepsi, Electronic Arts, News Corp, THQ, Fox Mobile, Village Roadshow, MTV, and Majesco.
